| What "hair bands & pretties" will stay in fine, thin hair? Lexi has quite a bit of hair on her body & not too bad on her upper legs but her head, particularly the top, is thin & fine-you can see her scalp easily. I have tiny doggie "rubber-bands" & even using two (with a pony in front & one gathered up separately & banding the two together) will work its way out fairly fast. She is getting good at leaving the pony alone & tolerates a bow (a very small barrette type from the infants department) for a short period of time. I am just wondering what brand/types of hair accessories would work for her type of hair.

| Her hair will thicken in time. By the time they are 18 months old, you will for sure see their adult hair. It will probably thicken a bit more as time passes. Are you using a true rubber band? I have never had trouble with them coming out. Mine can't. I use bows on alligator clips mostly. You do want to be careful with puppies. You don't want to leave them unattended with something like barrettes or clips in their hair that they can choke on. Just be patient. In time and with persistence, you will be able to put them in your little one's hair.

| Rosie has the fine silky hair. She can work anything I put in it out quickly. I have to really keep an eye on her. I never leave one in if I am not going to be home. I think she has gotten better as I continue to use them. I guess just getting used to them. She can get bands, clips, and barrettes out in record time.

| I was hoping to hear that her hair will thicken as she gets older. I feel reassured by that. I am just so anxious to have her look "girly" with all the pretty bows. I have been using the tiny hair bands made for dogs but they slide out. I am hesitant to use regular rubber bands as they tend to pull & break the hair more in my experience. Yeah, I learned right away not to trust her with anything in her hair as she will "rub" it out in no time & then have the bow/barrette to chew on. She has to be totally supervised. Thanks ladies!

| Payslee will be 2 and a half on the 23rd and she too has a lot of thick hair everywhere except right where a bow goes! Hahah. I use the little bands to put her hair up and then an alligator clip over it, she didn't like it at first but she doesn't seem to mind so much now. However some bows she can still get out just by shaking HAHA. Silly goose! [: OH! If you go to etsy.com and type in snapinbows, there is a seller on there who is a groomer that made these little bows for dogs that have this problem, I actually ordered 6 of em a few months ago, they are really pretty and they do stay in! That might be something to look in to if you'd like. [:

| Your more than welcome! I was so excited when I found em! Actually, the day they came I tried and Pays couldn't get it out! That afternoon I trimmed her a little bit and well..she could get em out then HAHA however, they are a little tricky to use, they aren't complicated its just you can put a lot of hair in them so you have to get the hair amount JUST right in order for them to work properly. She has nothing but good reviews and she even gave me a hairbow free because she didn't get to ship mine out for a couple of days, which I thought was really nice. Once she shipped them out though I got em in just a few short days. You won't be disappointed with her bows! They are gorgeous! Btw, any do with any hair type can use these bows, they are made to where dogs can't get them out and they don't pull their hair, so they don't even know they have em in. [: Take pics so I can see which ones you chose! [:

| I just ordered five bows. I sure appreciate the recommendation & again thank you so very much. I will try to remember to post pics. If you don't see anything in a week, just remind me, k? Oh, also I ordered two different types of engraved name tags from Etsy as well that go on the collar. Lexi wants to chew on her rabies & county tags. I plan to get her microchipped when she gets spayed but wanted an ID tag on her collar & am hoping these work. One you rivet to the collar & the other is a slide on for a belt type collar. I like being able to use different collars if I choose.

| I like to use bands for mine. I purchase them from Dog Bows, Quality Dog Bows - Yorkie, Maltese, Shih Tzu - by BowBiz Susan has baby sized ones too.

| Yep, that is why I asked - I just knew some others had to have the same issue with thin hair on top & wanting to put a bow in & it staying. So thankful for YT!

| I have to add my THANK YOU too Chels. I have not been able to find anything to keep Angel's hair out of her eyes except for tiny jaw clips. She gets them out then chews them up before I can get to her. I have been so afraid she is going to choke on one. These little bow clips WORK and are just perfect. Her tiny top knot is staying in just fine and even if she gets it out I don't have to worry about her eating it. I got them for her ears too and when Hubby got home he just could not get over how cute she looked. These are the first bows we have been able to use! Thanks!

| I am SO upset with myself - I just realized that I didn't complete my order for the bows I wanted & have been waiting for a week to receive them. I did make sure I now have placed the order. Hope they come in time for Christmas.
