| A couple of Questions Okay, I am a new Yorkie owner, I've had Macy for almost two months now a lot of people ask me if she is full blooded, or if she is mixed with a poodle. She is full blooded, but I guess its her color, or her wavy puppy coat? Do you think her coloring is normal? A lot of the pictures I've seen on here look like they are darker than her, and their faces doesn't look quite the same. I just thought I would get your expert opinions. And another question, what kind of bows do you like to use? I like the "alligator" clip on ones, but they seem to fall out easy. I've ordered one from snap on dog bows from etsy, I'm going to try it out. I'm just not crazy about the rubber band ones, but then again, I'm new to this, and new to bows in general, being a guy and all. But they are so darn cute! |

| She looks like a cute little yorkie to me. Some of them have wavier hair. Im convinced the average person doesnt have a clue yorkies have different coat textures, sizes, and even colors and they compare other peoples with theirs, Anyway I use the banded bows but I put a grooming band in first then the bow band on top its easier that way, Ive never had any luck with clips

| Your dog looks like a Yorkie to me. They vary a lot in looks. I wouldn't let it worry you. You always want to use one of the little bands to gather your dogs hair together before you clip on one of the bows. That way it won't slide off quite so easily. There is a lady that sells bows in the "featured yorkie products for sale" area on YT. It's called Bowbiz. Her site has some helpful information about how to put your bows in. I saw the snap in bows on Etsy as well and was thinking about ordering some. They seems so quick and easy. Very cute, too. Oh, and I use the smallest latex free bands. You only have to wrap them twice usually and they are easier on the fur. I get them from toplinepet.com. They also advertize on YT sometimes. |

| Your little cutie pie looks like a yorkie to me. As has been stated several times already in this thread, there are many different yorkie "looks". Even with show Yorkies, the looks can vary considerably. |
