| I wouldn't keep him in simply because he doesn't like the boots. If he has a sweater or coat on, he may not mind the cold as much. It may take a little time, but he will eventually get used to the cold and snow - just don't keep him out too long. When it snows several inches (or feet!) outside, we shovel paths in the back yard so Rocco can go out and do his thing. By the way, how old is your pup?

| I live in Connecticut and last winter we had lots of snow. Piper was fine going outside to potty with a warm jacket (no boots) and shoveled paths. I still walked her all winter on cleared sidewalks.

| Ya, I agree to shovel an area and put sweater/coat on, but leave the boots off. Oz is the same... sweaters ok... socks/boots NOT ok. He only does his business outside. Make sure to praise for outside potty and give a treat right after.

| This will be our first year dealing with the snow. I'm looking forward to seeing what Bentley will do. He just turned a year old on the 4th. I won't take him out if it's really super cold. He likes his potty pads. |

| We had out 1st snow this morning. While it hasn't stuck to the roads, it's on the ground. It was Bailey's 1st snow and he wasn't sure what to do. But he sniffed it a bit and went about his biz. Natalie knitted him a sweater so he looks smashing in it while walking about the elements. ;-) |
