| New to site About 5 months ago I was adopted by 2 Yorkie mix pups. They had been dumped at a lady's house and she knew I was looking for a Yorkie type pup. So I guess my first question is are we still welcome even though we are not pure breed? I knew nothing about Yorkies when we started on this journey, but when I had a chance to do some research and look at photos, OMG, there were pics of my two lil pumpkins. lol you can definitely see the Yorkie in them. One is male the other female and she is the Yorkie I have been reading about. She walks ( well struts) with her head up as though she is at a show. She's moody, she uses every wile she can to get her way, she's smart, energetic, athletic, and she has me potty trained ( which means that if I get her outside when she has to go she goes outside, if not, any place will do. She even scratched back the puppy pad to pee under it) The male is my little man. He is easy going, fun loving, and mostly laud back though he to can be moody at times. Even the female has learned that when he means business, leave him alone. He won't hurt her but he let's her know. But if she cries, he'll check to make sure she's O.K. Their names are Sissy and Brodo, oh and my name is Kathy. I love reading about Yorkies and learning as much as I can. I must admit that like most of you I'm hooked lol. I'll post some pics as soon as I can get on my comp, for some reason my iPhone is not letting me post pics. I look forward to chatting with each of you and picking your brains |
