| My Oliver has great instinct Hey fellow Yorkie friends! A few of you may remember about 6 months ago I was concerned because Oliver was constantly barking at my boyfriend and the "friend" of mine that was staying with me for a while. He never barks and for some reason he just would NOT stop with them. So I HAD to give an update... Turns out the boyfriend got very verbally abusive with me AND my "friend" that I was trying to help out with a place to stay was stealing from me the whole time!! My little baby was just trying to warn me the whole time!!!! Needless to say I have just started dating a new guy and he went through the "Oliver test" first! (Oliver fell asleep on his lap and was snoring so I guess he has passed SO far) Gotta love our babies!

| Well first off I am sorry you found yourself in those situations. I am glad tho that your little furbabe gave you a good warning sign! I swear they have GREAT instincts! Hope this new guy is much better -- and if Oliver is any sign, it seems like so far he is!!

| So sorry you had to go through that! Yes, your little Oliver knows what he is talking about Oftentimes, our furbabies know things well before we do and we could learn a thing or two from them for sure! Happy to hear Oliver approves of your new guy

| Wow, what a smart lil guy! Glad that you found out what he was telling you... I definitely would not trust a man that my lil guy didn't like

| I have to agree. These little dogs do have a sense about ppl. My Cricket did not like men. Not fond of them. I started dating my DH - she LOVED him. It was the first time she ever liked a guy. I'm glad you have moved on (w Oliver's approval!). He's such a good boy protecting his mommy! I think he deserves an extra little something in his Christmas stocking!

| Do you know, when you posted the original - that actually went through my mind? But it was such a dreadful thought that I didn't post it on the thread It seemed such a nasty thing to be thinking. So glad you've got your little protector - and all the very, very best with your 'newbie'! Sally + Harry x |

| Some pups seem to have a great sense about people. My last yorkie, Chelsea, was like that. As soon as you walked through the door, she either liked you or didn't. And those she didn't...it always turned out she was right. My current yorkie, ZoE, loves everyone and has yet to meet a person she doesn't like. Can't tell yet if she's just never met anyone not worthy of her affection or if she's just a lover by nature.

| I have learned a big lesson.... I have wanted Oliver, after the puppy mill experience, to be able to trust me.... Now I have learned that we need to trust each other!
