| Would you mind I had to go and visit my ailing parent in australia recently so had to leave my Hubby and George (my yorkie) at home together, so hubby took george to work with him and gave him his daily walks etc, now since i have been home i notice that I have lost some of that special bond George and I had I don't really mind too much but sometimes it does hurt.

| I understand. I think you'll get the bond back in time. He's probably a bit mad at you for leaving him.

| Dogs like to feel like they have a job. Your little guy must have felt very important going to work with your husband and doing things with him. Maybe you could start doing something different with him that will make him feel important. Take him somewhere that he enjoys on a regular basis. Not because he will like you better but because of what it does for how he feels about himself. The little guy obviously wants to feel like he is accomplishing something. Some dogs just have that need. |

| If he is anything like mine, you are being punished and it will pass in a few days. Now yall can laugh at me if you want to but I have noticed that when I do something that the pack does not approve of, they punish me. They do get over it though cause they know who feeds them lol

Donating YT 500 Club Member | That same kind of thing happens with Roxy without one of ever leaving town. If DH is doing more fun things with her than I am, he's her favorite. If I start doing more fun things with her than DH, then I'm her favorite. DS would exclaim that 'she's a whore and can be easily bought!' lol! Give George some time, and get back into your routine, do some special things with him, and I'll bet he'll come around. Good luck!
