| Insurance Claim Question? I need feedbacks on insurance claim...especially VPI... We just went through a very stressful and trying week...our boy CEASAR just went through a lot...getting so sick...going through surgery...medicines...IVF...everything...but he survived and is recovering well...but my husband and I are so broke...we spent almost $2100.00 on everything...and now our girl CLEO is going through the same thing...hopefully no more surgery because they at least have clue now on what could be happening...but my GOD...So please anyone with any experience with VPI insurance claim...please post something so I could have some questions & doubts answered...We have VPI Superior Plan for both of them...any feedback would help us...THANKS... |

I Love Thor Donating Member | I have VPI Pet Insurance and I have had to claim twice with them. After the fifty $ deducable, they covered almost everything. I just have the insurance that covers emergencies and they were great paying for the hook that went through Thor's eyelid and his tooth extraction. I know that I got really mad at them one time, but I think that was because they didn't pay for any of the 'waste disposal' fee's. Other than that I've been happy. Good luck on your claim. Feel free to ask me any other questions regarding this. Hannah |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have it but haven't had to use it yet. I asked my vet and she said just to bring in the claim form and they would fill it out if I ever needed it. Sorry I can't be of more help. Good luck

| I have VPI and have used it only for the routine puppy stuff. They have been fairly quick in paying their part (about 2 weeks after submitting) and the forms are simple. You can download them from their website if you dont have them. Just have your vet fill out the top portion and sign it. Send it along with your detailed receipt from the vet. You can fax the form or mail it to them. I hope this helps a little.

| I have had VPI for 2 years now and have sent in claims more times than I can count! Take the calim form to your vet, they will fill out the appropriate information, make copies of your receipts (you need to send them the originals) and mail it to them. Usually I receive my refund within 2 weeks after sending it to them! I have also sent multiple claims at the same time with no problems! Good Luck |

Im glad to hear Ceasar is better.....I was wondering about him...... go here http://www.petinsurance.com/ to check out claim procedures. It sounds like your insurance plan will pay MOST of Ceasar's medical expenses. I think all you have to do if fill out a claim form.....there is a deductible and I think they only cover 90% (??) of the vet costs.....but in your case that is a LOT. Hope Cleo so not get so sick.... d | |
