| Shoe/sock question Me and my girls currently live in FL and will be moving to SC or VA soon. Ally is a little over 3 lbs and will be 3 yrs at the end of the year; Tia is apprx 6.5 lbs and will be 2 yrs in January. Ally's hair is still long, but I recently had to trim Tia's due to her excessive matting every day. She now has a medium cut. Ally gets cold easy, while Tia is a little tougher. I know I will probably need to get both something to keep their little piggies warm this winter. (They have plenty of sweaters/coats/pj's.) What size shoe/sock do I get? Which is better, shoe or sock? Who makes the best ones that will stay on? Are there any tricks that I should know? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. This is a picture of the girls last Christmas. |

| OMG!!! They are so adorable!! I have never been successful with shoes or socks with my yorkie because all of them are too big for her. One thing I can say is that it is so much easier to have your yorkies when you buy them at dog boutiques. I thought the smallest size would fit and I bought them and it was too big for her. So it is good to have them try it on before buying it. It is just my take on that.

| With my last yorkie, I came across infant/newborn socks (0-6mths)with grippy stuff on the bottom (like hospital socks)....which made no sense as infants don't walk! But they were hanging on an end cap at a local drug store that has since gone out of business. I bought them for my yorkie to use in the winter and she loved them because she wouldn't slide all over the wood floor when wearing them like she did in other socks/boots. I've never seen them since then, but would love it if I could find more.

| Thanks everyone. It's been a long time since I've been here and totally forgot about AllDogBoots. Going to PM to get some ideas. Don't want my girls to get too cold this winter. |

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | What cutie pies you have there! They are gorgeous! I would like to try shoes on Katie Scarlett, but not sure if any would fit right now. I'm going to have to wait until she is fully grown to see if we can try it. Good luck! Sorry I couldn't help you more.
