YT Addict | Rough housing? or being mean? Ok, so now that we have the new pup and 2 yorkies in the house, I'm going to be having lots of questions lol. As I've stated before, I've never owned 2 dogs at one time before so I'm not sure what is normal behavior and what kind of behaviors I should look out for etc. So Bentley (the baby) runs up to Dolce and starts biting her hair on her belly and her back legs everytime I put them together. Sometimes Dolce will just stand there but after a minute she seems to get either irritated or he bites her too hard or something but she will start growling and nip back at him. Bentley won't seem to leave her alone. Not sure if this is just playing? Or is he trying to dominate her? Or is him biting her a behaviour that I should try to stop? I have been keeping Bentley in a playpen a lot of the times so I can keep an eye on him, but I will let him out to play with Dolce and get used to her and the cats, but everytime I let him out he just zones me and everything else out and "attacks" Dolce Am I freaking out over nothing? lol

| I think your puppy is trying to nurse. Your older dog will correct him. I would only step in, if I thought they were really going to hurt each other. It will help if you send some time with the puppy alone, away from everyone else. (LOL, I use the bathroom when working with my own pups) You want to encourage the pup to bond with you as the leader (Mommy) not the older dog in your family.
