| Good conditioner that really glosses the hair I've let Sabrina's hair grow out to where it touches the floor - and I love it. It's quite a bit of daily combing, considering she plays A LOT! I'm trying to find a really good glossing conditioner - or product. I've even tried glossing spray from Victoria's Secret. She smells great, but the product leaves her hair "not fluffy" but on the nearing greasy looking side. Any suggestions? |

| I could never get the results I wanted or expected with doggie products. I use a simple Suave Conditioner and it produces a great shine.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | The best price is from the Iv San Bernard website, you'll get the wholesale price, there is a $75 order minimum though. You have to sign up for an account, after your account is activated you'll be able to see the pricing. If you can catch them at a dog show that would be best, that way you get to see the product, can avoid shipping fees, and visit with Linda or Baxter. PEK Conditioner : Iv San Bernard (USA & Canada), Fine Italian Pet Grooming Products and Equipment I found these two websites offering PEK: Iv San Bernard - Quality Traditional and Parti Yorkshire Terriers IV San Bernard - Teacup Fashions Uptown Thank You! It truly is the PEK that makes it shine like it does.

| I've used Coat Handler.. and I would say that it *is* the best that I've used thus far, but Sabrina still doesn't look as glossy as I've seen some Yorkies at the Fashion Island Mall (where every Yorkie owner goes in So. Cal to *show-off* their Yorkies and have a fun day out shopping). Some of these Yorkies must be show quality -- they are absolutely beautiful! I'm wondering if her coat isn't as glossy as some, because she may still have puppy hair on her back, as I've seen her color is still changing (she's 1 yr 2 mo). |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Pek conditioners contain Balsam and that's an ingredient that was very popular and many conditioners in the 70's. It can leave your hair shinny looking, but it’s only temporary and it has been said that long term use can damage the hair. All I know is that they've stopped using it for the most part on human hair products, and I've had several hair stylists tell me to never use it, it leaves a waxy coating on the hair that dulls over time. If you then use a product strong enough to take off the waxy coating, you are stripping the hair of good things as well.
