Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | Snoozer Car Seats Well, after hearing all the praise, I ordered Katie Scarlett a Snoozer Car Seat today. I just got the small Snoozer Car Seat 1 model in pink vinyl. (http://www.snoozerpetproducts.com/sn...eat-p-170.html) I ordered the little food/water thing that clips on to it too. I am hoping it will arrive by Saturday. The hubby and I are taking a little mini trip. We are driving about 2 hours away and are going to stay in a nice hotel and then go to a furniture place on Sunday. Of course Katie Scarlett will be coming with us. We have been doing car rides almost every day and she is doing great!!! No car sickness at all! I have been so proud of her! I am a little confused as to how the car seat attaches to the seatbelt and how the harness attaches to it so she can't jump out. Can any of you pros help me out? Is there anything I need to know about our first little mini trip? Any advice would be so appreciated!!! Thanks guys!

| I don't know about the snoozer, but I assume it has a clip inside to attach to a harness.

| Snoozer: the carseat belt goes around the back of the carseat to hold it in place. The tether goes around the seatbelt and will need to be adjusted so she cannt get any farther than the front of the carseat. I put a blanket in Mina's carseat because once my airconditioner catches up it gets cold in the backseat. If the carseat is close to a car door, make sure that she doesn't have a paw or her head in the door when you close it. If I open my windows I only crack the one next to Mina. Sounds like Katie Scarlett is going to need a stroller and travel water dish soon. I took two of our dogs to visit my mother today and having them in the stroller made it soooo much easier. |

| I love our Snoozer seat. The strap that attaches to the harness goes around the "lap" part of the seat belt. This lap part is also the part that goes around the back of the seat and fastens to the car. The shoulder part just goes behind the seat. Hope that is clear as I don't want to confuse you. I had the same question when I got ours. I have 2 little ones and they both fit it the regular size seat, side by side and they love being able to see out the window. |

| You may have to sit in the back seat with her the first few times and train her to stay in the car seat. When we first got Callie's car seat she would step out of it and I would have to say no and place her back in. Now she loves it if any car door is open she will jump in and find her car seat and sit in it. If you have automatic windows I would also suggest locking them. Callie was able to put one down a few times. I hope you and Katie Scarlett like you snoozer!

| Mine love theirs. We have a larger one and both use it. I just hook a splitter up to the attachment and they can both see out the windows or sleep but they are very comfortable in it.

| I can't see what keeps them in the Snoozer seat should a rollover or forceful stop or collision occur. Is there some type of harness made in this seat that the dog gets into?

| Car Seat for Yorkies It is much easier to understand how to install everything, when you have the seat and instructions in hand. Don't worry you will be able to put it in, and adjust everything. I bought the small car seat for Gracie. She Loves it, I wish I had bought the bigger one because I have 4 Yorkies and they all want the car seat. I did buy a larger second car seat but 3 will not share, so someone is always stuck in a crate in the back. My SUV has a doggy gate behind the back seats, so the whole rear is really a giant crate. But I just don't feel like they are safe running around free back there. (I do let our Lab ride back there when she is with us.) On long highway trips I prefer my Yorkies to travel most of the time in their crates. In the gated back hatch area. I feel like this is the safest place for them in the event of an accident.

| We love our snoozers I have three small snoozers across the back seat of my small car. This is what the scene looks like when we have outings.... Teddy always rides in the middle and the older kids claim window seats. Enjoy I'm sure you will love your snoozer!
