| My little Dexter has had more accidents today more than before! I recently got little Dex. He is 7 months and very sweet. Today he had an accident on my friends carpet and on my floor this morning. Is this a sign he is telling me to step it up and play with him or did I just not take him out enough? I am new to dog owner ship, so please give me your advice on how to take care of my little pup! |

| There are several reasons why he may have had the accidents. He could have been drinking more than usual and just couldn't hold it. Or he may not have actually gone when you thought he could. I have noticed that some dogs need to pee more than once when they are out. He may need more time outside. Has his routine been different at all? I don't think dogs are vindictive but changes in routine or feeding can put them off a little. Puppies especially. Just watch him a little closer and give him some more time when he is out. |

| Have you recently changed his food? Or given him something to chew on, or let him have people food? Some foods cause a dog to drink more. Canidae caused Gizmo to drink alot of water, thus leading to accidents in the house.

| My guess is that you have become lacks on training and he is taking advantage of the extra freedom. He's still a baby. Give him less freedom and take him out more often.
