YT Addict | Trying to make a Dress for Dolce Ok, so I want to sew a dress for my baby as a birthday present to her lol. I can never find her clothes that fit her perfectly so I want to start making her clothes myself and of course I decide I wanna start with something difficult lol. I haven't sewn anything projectwise in probably 10 years so I'm pretty rusty haha but I am determined. My problem is, I've been trying to google somewhere I can buy a basic dress pattern for a bodice and a skirt that I can work from as a starting point. The only thing is, the stuff I have found through google is not the kind of "dresses" Im looking for. I guess I'm being picky haha. Does anyone here on YT sell patterns or know where I can find a pattern? The kind of dress I want to make is like a "flouncy party/sundress" I have light baby blue material with white embroidered flowers and a slightly dark blue mesh/toule for under the skirt. I also have a lace trim I am going to put on the bottom of the skirt and I want it to have thick straps with faux big white buttons on the back as well as a thick white sash and bow on the back. Let me know if you can picture in your head what I'm describing here lol. Anyway, any help would be appreciated thanks!

| I'm not sure if Lila is a member or not, but I have purchased a couple of her patterns and they "work". They are easy to make adjustments and the directions are easy to follow. Home You might also try Simplicity patterns - they have several that are specially designed for little bittys |

| I found a doll dress pattern that worked well for Gracie, with easy adjustments for the length. The girth was just right for her. She weighs abt 4 lbs. |

| Hmmm doll dress pattern sounds like a great idea. I have a ton of those in various sizes from the daughters being little. Wonder if I could use some of the other patterns like bassinett, diaper bag and carrier? Hmmmm |
