| Have ticks not been as bad this year? Just wondering because I did not give Jackson his flea/tick meds since the first week of July.... and I have not seen one tick on him all summer... which is SO odd for MD It was K9 Advantix and I gave it to him on July 1st... I mean, if I don't have to use it EVERY month, I would prefer not to, hate putting unnecessary chemicals on him so I tend to hold off if I am not seeing any ticks. Did not even realize where the time went until I looked at my iPhone calender how long it had been since I had given it to him. Last summer, if I was a few days late, I'd notice ticks attaching to him. So anyways just gave him a dose of Frontline just to be safe and keep up! But anyone else experiencing a shortage of them? My dads dogs have also not been on ANYTHING all summer long and I think their dog maybe had one all summer long.

| We did have a few ticks that we had to deal with here. However, not near as many as the year before. The year before they almost took me over the deep end! I use K9 Advantix also. This year I have only been using a half a tube on each girl. Haven't given to them since August!

| I have not seen a tick since last spring when poor Teddy and I were both picking them up left and right. The recent wet weather has made me very nervous about a resurgence.

| Not in Texas. It has been such a horrible summer that everything that could crawl or fly would be a crispy critter. Come on cooler weather. I have never been so tired of this heat in my life. |

| They were bad here during the spring, but I think the hot dry summer discouraged them for venturing out.

| The only time we have had problems with ticks this year was spring and I have been a week or two late with Callies Advantix treatment and she has been fine but I am still not going to tempt it and plan to treat her Saturday or Sunday she is spending more time outside now that the weather is nice when its not raining. It would be great if all ticks where gone

| Guess what I found last night! When we returned from the park last night and I was giving the boys their yogurt in the kitchen, I looked down and saw the little critter walking on the floor.

I am glad I put Frontline on Jackson the other day because I do have a feeling they may come back out for a bit.

| I think it fell off of one of us for sure. I have brought them from the backyard when I work under the trees.

| We dont get the ticks here but fleas werent as bad here this year as they normally are. I didnt put flea meds on my yorkies or cats all year. Now a couple of my cats have fleas now so im going to have to put some meds on them to get rid of them before winter but still only having to put flea meds on once a yr is really good and it saved me alot of money because I have 5 cats and 2 yorkies. I wonder if it wasnt so bad because of the extreme heat we had because it was also a summer where I didnt have an ant problem in the house
