| I'm a little worried... I made a stupid mistake today. One of my guilty pleasures is Dove Chocolate with the peanut butter in them. Anywho, I must have eaten one and put it in my pocket of my work pants, and when I got home I took off the pants and the wrapper, which is foil, flew out of my pocket and on my bed. Well, I was getting ready for bed, and I come out of my bathroom to see Gizmo chewing on something. I thought it was his paws, but it was the foil wrapper. There was no chocolate inside, and I pieced together the foil to see if there were any pieces missing, and I didn't see any large pieces gone. I'm so stupid, I never make these mistakes. Anyone else have a stupid moment. I'm monitoring Giz to make sure he's not acting weird, just in case he did get some of the foil down. I know my brother's dog ate Christmas lights once and was able to pass them. Am I just being overly worried?

| if there was no chocolate left in the wrapper he's probably fine. He could eat the entire wrapper and pass it no problem and the chocolate isn't enough to harm him especially if there wasn't any left in the wrapper. He'll be fine but just keep an eye on him tonight. |

| Phew! When I found the little brat, he looked up at me with such a proud look on his face! But I know he didn't get any chocolate, because I never leave any left behind in the wrapper. I'm that much of a glutton! Thanks ladies, I feel better.

| I have made a mistake simaler to that! We had a WHOLE chocolate chip cookie in a backpack and one of the pockets were open and the choco. chip was in a plastic bag and Bailey ripped the plastic bag and ate some of the cookie. Thank god she was ok and NOTHING happened. Bailey is sneaky and she also took one of those ceasers treat bags(full) that was on top of her crate opened it and ate the whole bag. her tummy was ROCK hard. She didnt want to eat anything for a couple days. Lesson learned:be careful around sneaky Bailey. We all make mistakes, its ok. Just I would check with the vet or let it pass. |
