| Need some grooming advice! Lola absolutely hates getting bathed and groomed, but she lets me do almost everything. The only things I can't get her to stay still for are trimming her face, combing her chest and legs, or trimming her nails. She is fine with everything else. She keeps getting matted up where she doesn't let me groom, but I don't want to force her to stay still either. How can I get her to allow me to groom her properly without having to fight her to stay still? |

| You could try giving her treats throughout the grooming session, and maybe try some different combs and brushes on her... she may be sensitive to the ones you are using. And make sure you are not pulling her hair. Tinkerbell was very nervous when I first started grooming her, but she's alot better now bc she knows I will not hurt her. She was 2 years old when I first got her, and she is super sensitive. I had to work slow at first with her, now I can move a bit faster bc she trusts me more now.

| I would give treats while your doing everything. One of the things that helped Callie was I would sing to her softly and talk to her the whole time. It may just take her awhile to get used to it.

| I've been grooming her for the 3 years I've had her. We did get over all her fears but those few. I'll keep trying maybe she just needs more time. |
