| Well,it's official... I pick up Cricket tomorrow around 4-4:30ish! She had a vet appointment yesterday. She weighs .6 pounds. The vet expects her to be around 2 full grown. That's less than half of my moms Chihuahua. She has an absolute clean bill of health; no heart murmors. My icon is a recent picture of her, and the pop can is closer to the camera than she is. I have a question though. We're members with Planned Pethood, and signed up about 2 weeks ago in hopes that we would have our membership card by now. Well, we still don't have the card, and have been informed that it may take another week. Anyways, should I be worried that Cricket could become pregnant? I don't plan on ever really having the two together, and taking one out after the other if it's a big possibility. |

| She is absolutely adorable!!!! Im doubting she is really ".6" pounds though and if she is....way too small to bring home!! We have a itty bitty one who is 13 weeks right now....we have had her 3 weeks (which was too soon)...She weighs about 1.6, and is TINY!!! Be sooooo very careful if she really is that small. Read my threads.....the reason for the new one is because my 14 year old son accidently stepped on our precious little Jordan. Keep her safe...do the "shuffle".......

I remember reading your post. She's going to be crate trained, so the only running around she'll really be doing is when she's outside to potty, or I'm playing with her. This was very successful in training Whiskey, so I plan on doing it again.

Whiskey was about her size when we got him, and we didn't have any accidents. He couldn't wear a collar for a while because the xs wasn't small enough. Whiskey is pushing 6 pounds, and I hate carrying him around because my arm ends up feeling like I was carrying a 200 pound baby. There'd be no way I'd carry almost 10 pounds around!!!

| Yea!! Congrats! My little Abby was around 2 pounds when I picked her up at 12 weeks. Now at 6 months she is about 3.2 pounds and full of personality! Your little one has a lot of mischief in her little eyes. She is going to be such a character. Can't wait to see more photos. |
