| Vet tech tightening collar Callie went to the vet today to get two more vaccines well the vet tech took her back to take blood and a fecal test and when she brought Callie back her collar had been tightened. I never ever hook Callies leash to her collar and when they took her for a urinalysis I made sure she had her harness on and the leash hooked to. Anyway I leave her collar sorta loose because she is never left alone and she never messes with it and I want it to be comfy and it is not so big it slips over her ears and head. It just bothered me that the vet tech would tighten it up. I'm probably over reacting but it just bugs me so I guess I needed to vent about it.

| Did they take blood from her neck? If yes, then that may have been taken off and put back on. And if a tech puts a collar on, they are pretty much required to fit it correctly. A loose collar isn't safe, so I bet they just had her best interest at heart. If they took blood from her leg, then no idea why that would have happened (although maybe they removed it for vaccines or something).

| I think Ellie May is correct. Every time I go to the Vet they mention Rubin's collar is too lose. I tell them he only wears it when we leave the house. I have this fear of being in an accident and being out cold and my dogs being given to animal control for safe keeping. One side of their tags say: IF 911 call (Vets phone number) Anyway his collar is loose because of his CT.
