| Welcome to Yorkietalk. I'm sorry your baby and you are going through this. How old is Emma? I do not have first hand experience with liver shunt or surgery. There may not be many people here right now to respond, but you will have more messages tomorrow from people who have pups who have had LS surgery.

| Welcome to YT! We would love to see a picture of your little Emma. While you wait for responses you could do a search on the topic. I hope you find the answers you need.

| Many pups here have gone through the surgery. You might also want to post this in the Sick and Injured forum. My Lucy does not have an actual shunt but she does have MVD (small, internal, shunts) which, to date, are so mild that we manage with a fairly low protein diet. What kind of tests has your baby had so far?
