| New Yorkie Mom! Hey everyone! I recently become the proud mom of a 2 yr old male Yorkie that was wondering through my neighborhood. I am wondering why his ears don't stand up? And is he told old for me to do anything about it? |

| Hi and welcome to YT. Thanks for taking this poor baby in and giving him shelter. Someone must be very sad to lose him. No one is looking for him? Are you sure he's 2? I would think that at this age, his ears will not stand up.

| Hi! Welcome to Yorkie Talk! I agree that at 2 years of age it's way too late to get his ears to stand up - that has to be done when they are still puppies. It's great that you took him in. Sad that he was wandering around - someone must miss him very much!

| I"m glad he's out of the elements. There are alot of ppl that seem to throw away Yorkie's. I honestly don't understand, except that they are not willing to put forth the time and effort it takes to raise them. My heart bleeds for those dogs! I sure hope it's not the other way around and someone isn't searching for this dog because if it were me, I'd be crying day and night ,worrying myself sick. |

It doesn't matter that his ears don't up, love him the way he is. I'm still sad he is lost from his owners.

| I don't think I've ever seen a Yorkie wandering! They either seem to be running, doing their quick little high-stepping show-ring walk - or asleep!! Hasn't he been micro-chipped? Sally + Harry x |

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | Welcome to YT! I would definitely try to see if you can find the owner if possible. I know someone may be worried sick about their poor baby. How nice of you to take him in though!

| I have done everything to find his owner for 2 weeks and no one has claimed him. He also is not micro-chipped or neutered. I am glad he wandered up to my door! He is a great little guy and me and my kids just love him |
