| Everyone should have a Yorkie! You know, I've had dogs all my life, but never Yorkies until this year. I have to say that every time I look into those babies eyes (now 9 & 10 months old), I just fall in love with them all over again. I think every single person in the world would do the same thing if they just looked into my babies' eyes. I have 2 outdoor dogs - Border Collie & Corgie - that I love dearly & would not trade for the world, but there is just something magical about those sweet Yorkie eyes. Melts my heart. Thanks for listening to this oooey-gooey post. I just love my babies. |

I'm so glad you're happy with them, but I'll tell you one thing I disagree with (even though I know what you really meant ) and that is that I'm very happy that not everyone has a yorkie. There would be so many abused one's.

| I feel the same way. I know they say dog is man's best friend, but a yorkie is just so much more!! They are just precious!!

| When they were 4 months old, I put them in my bathroom while I went to an appointment. All of about 3 hours. When I returned, they had shredded the entire roll of toilet paper (yeah, I forgot to put it away) and had completely shredded the newspaper I had left out for them to potty on. When I opened the door & saw the mess, you couldn't even see the floor of my bathroom. If you can just imagine, they both looked up at me & cocked their heads, and I couldn't even MAKE myself be mad at them. I just smiled and knelt down, & they both ran to me & gave me a face-full of puppy kisses. Ok, I know I'm a big push-over. A big huge softie. (***sigh***) You just gotta love 'em! |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | I agree with you till a certain extent. Yorkies are very special dogs. But unfortunately, not everyone deserves to have one.

| Oh, I totally agree. I just was saying it to express that I wish everyone felt the way I did about these babies. I mean, when they jump in my lap while I'm lounging on the couch, and they put their front paws on my chest & start licking my ear, I think it's absolutely adorable. BUT, my sisters don't seem to agree. They push them away, and I just can't imagine!! No, really, I know I probably should have taught them manners - to only jump up when invited. But as far as I'm concerned, there is always an open invitation for puppy kisses. |

| I have my two girls and have had other pets but I have to say these little yorkies just get to your heart very quickly. They are special, no doubt about it. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I agree. I have had 3 yorkies in the past and them when my last one died about 9 years ago my husband and dtr talked me into a pom, who I love but she just wasn't like my yorkies, much more independent and a loner, so i finally got the nerve up to have 2 dogs at the same time and got Cali a few months ago and I am sooooo in love. She ate a hole in my carpet and I couldn't even get upset with her!

| I've only had my first Yorkie for three weeks - but I can already see (as you all have already proven) that he is going to get away with murder. He just pooped on the carpet in my study (first time). I looked at him, jumped up, and said, "No no no!" You know what he did? He turned a summersault. Well I took him and his you-know-what immediately to his puppy pad and set him down. He looked up at me (with that sweet little face) and then ran around me as fast as he could go ---to the front room to play with Louie, my other dog. What can I say?????? Carol Jean |

YT 3000 Club Member | I have never had a small dog until Chester, and I was so overwhelmed the first few weeks when I got him I was ready to give him back. I now can say he has been worth every carpet cleaning, and lots of cleaners until I found a good one. Chester is happy to see me when I get home from work, he runs and junps on the bed and then jumps on top of me, noone is ever that excited to see me. He is such a cuddler, I dont whay I would without him they are truly special and grab your heart strings |

| A yorkie is not a dog for everyone . This dog require cares and attention that may be too demanding for a person . |
