| Typical Yorkie... It's funny when a Yorkie will sit at a bowl of food and take the time to pick out one type of kibble and spit out the other. We're transitioning Gizmo over to adult food, slowly. The little brat is too smart for his own good. Any other of you YTers watch you fuzzballs literally spit out pieces of kibble? Brat!!

| Too funny! Levi is a little piggy and eats indiscriminately. I'm pretty sure he'd eat dirt if I put it in his bowl with his kibble.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Not only will Roxy do this, but she will lay it on the floor, flip the piece till she has it the way she wants it, go back to eating till she finds the next piece to lay on the floor. She's very meticulous about it. These pieces will lay there till later in the day when she will be back to eat them. Can't figure out if she thinks they are the best ones to save, or they weren't the best ones so will come back to them. It doesn't matter if I've got 2 different kibbles mixed or just the Wellness that is her main kibble. She's an interesting little creature! lol!!!

YT 1000 Club Member | A little history first... My Male Sneakers is 3yo/12lbs now. My Female Becca is 1yo/7lbs now. They are Brother/Sister, and Becca arrived when she was 11 wo. Sneakers took to her immediately, I think he thought she was HIS puppy Both are what I would call "Nibblers", not "Gobblers" with their food, and we leave their food out 24/7, and they always eat together (at the same time). Now, here's the question about tipicality... When I first witnessed this, i couldn't hardly believe it, and had to watch them for several days. They have decided to eat (their main meals) at about 4am and 4pm, and ALTERNATE getting a bite to eat ! One steps up to the bowls, takes a bite, steps back and chews, while the other moves up, gets his bite, then moves back to let the other get a bite. No rushing or pushing ever ! ! ! I am just AMAZED at this level of politeness, and wonder... Is it a Bro/Sis issue, a Parent/Offspring, a Male/Female, Older/Younger ? With those of you who have multiple animals, have you seen this type interaction demonstrated with yours ? Or, do I just have two of the most well mannered Dogs around ?

| Gracie does exactly that! When I got her, the breeder said to feed her a certain kind of kibble, which she had been getting already, but to add in this other organic stuff to move her to that. From the first day I did that, she picked out all the organic bits and left them around her bowl. I tried it a couple more time, actually counting the organic bits to see if she picked them all out, and she did! So now I'm moving her to Wellness puppy kibble because I think it's better than what I was giving her and she eats her old kibble and the Wellness mixed together without discrimination. Too funny |

| Gracie is not a fan of dog food. The first several months I had her I cooked for her and even that she was not always happy with. When she turned a year old I started her on Stella & Chewy's freeze dried food and she loved it but I wanted her on a kibble, too. I mix the S&C with Nature's Variety grain free food. She will lick the S&C off the kibble or just spit the kibble out. She is such a stinker. I tried giving her smaller amounts of food and if she is really hungry she will eat some of the kibble but it has been a process trying to get her to eat dog food. |

| Princess no longer does that with her kibble as it's 100% the same. But sometimes I'll try to give her a special treat of a little chicken & rice or veggies & rice & she'll have rice strewn every where as she spits it out, looking for the 'good stuff' I guess.

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Riley likes to grab a bunch and bring it out by me to eat. And Lily just waits and follows him and when he spits it out to eat one piece at a time she steal some of it. I can not believe how much he can grab to bring out. It seems to work and he is not happy about Lily sharing but lets her

| It's so funny how most all of the Yorkie's have the same traits. Chloe does this too. |
