YT 3000 Club Member | my good deed for the week I have a friend that used to work with me and quit for health reasons, and she wanted a yorkie. She got a yorkie and gave it her first shot at 9 weeks, vaccine from the feed store maker was fort dodge I think. She had a seizure for around 6 hours, and she took the puppy to the vet and he wanted blood work, thinking liver shunt and almost 200.00 dollars, she cannot afford that. She does not have money for barely food let alone shots, she should of waited to save some money. I told her she needed shots she is now 5 months old and going back and forth to montana. I took the dog to my vet and he checked her out and said she did not have a shunt and gave her the shot and some benadryl and charged her 32.00 dollars. The vet said she was probably hypoglycemic and maybe she had a reaction to the vaccine which, this brand they have had problems with, which he does not use any more. She loved my vet and is getting her rabies in a couple of weeks. Im so glad I happened to call her and she told me what was going on, she did not have any money for almost a month. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | That's so sweet of you. I fell so bad for anyone who has fallen on hard times and can't afford to take care of their pet.
