| Unscared of thunder We had a storm tonight with pretty decent thunder and Callie did not freak out or act scared! Normally she has to be put in her thundershirt and she still goes and lays in the hallway. Well the last storm we had Sammy and my parents were here and Sammy never acted scared and Callie seemed pretty good well this storm she was great too! I am just so excited! Its been such a crazy week I'm so happy something nice and positive happened. Every one (me and my grandparents) kept telling her how proud we were.

| I wish Bailey wasn't so scared. If she knows a storm is coming she'll beg to go outside to pee/poo quick, then she'll freak out and pant and whine until it's over. |

| Callie was pretty bad before the thundershirt she would pant, cry, shake and walk back and forth.

| I had to hold Bailey and take her to the basement, but she'd pant in my face. But I'd hold her and pet her and give her kisses. She'd still freak out. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | That's great! Pixie still needs her thundershirt and nutricalm medicine and sometimes she is still scared. She can tell if a storm is 50 miles away I swear.

| That is so awesome! Jackson has never been bothered by heavy rain or light thunder but it's the BIG booms that send him shaking under the bed. But lately, he's been really good during all storms. Like, he plays, eats, and acts like nothing is even going on. I think, maybe, it's because we've been having so many... he is just used to 'em by now. Yay Callie!

| Wahoo ! You are so brave Callie. Gracie is still working on not being afraid of Storms. She had an awful experience as a puppy. At her first home she was left out on an open deck during a very bad thunder storm. At her second home, she was put in the garage alone, because the people couldn't stand her yelping and whining during storms. Now she gets her thunder shirt, special blankey, and pink baby*. Then she lays by me. No more panting and screaming yelps. She still shakes at loud thunder but it is getting better. Maybe someday she will be a brave big girl like Callie ! * pink baby is a candy bar sized toy I made for her. IT has no stuffing just several layers of pink fleece and black thread eyes, nose and smiley face. |

You should make her a den out of a pen etc. cover with a blanket...some like to be hidden. ..or it can be game time and bring out special treats and new toys...she will take her cue from you...if you are upset because she is upset, it makes her more upset...when the Pack Leader is fine, all is well...mine hear a loud noise and look at me..if I remain clam, they barely notice..mine have slept through a hurricane, with me in bed asleep also. | |
