| Almost had a diva moment... We usually take Gizmo to the outdoor mall by us, it's literally in our backyard, so we can walk him and so that he can get socialized with other animals. Anywho, I was walking and noticed two younger kinds, probably about 19, holding two very very small Yorkie pups. Me, being the Yorkie lover that I am, went up to both of them and the girl runs up to Gizmo, wanted to pet him, so I let her and I begin to inquire about the pups. I ask her their age (6 weeks), their gender (both female), and why they're here (they're for sale). Apparently, her Mom is a breeder, and they are for sale for $690 dollars. Alarms going off yet?? We'll just say my husband walked away when I started inquiring about what age the pups could go home at. And that's when I noticed the kids let other dogs play with the pups, and let alot of people hold them. Maybe I'm being a Diva, but this really bothered me...

| I can readily see why it bothered you!!! Poor little puppies.

| That's definitely not being a diva... It's called common sense. Some people on this planet just don't have it.

| Those puppies are way to young. At least 8 weeks. We got my BOXER at about 9 just in case. |

| Most of us would have felt the same way. I come from the generation of a sign in the yard FREE PUPPIES, 6weeks ready to go, here is a cardboard box to take it home in. Thank goodness we know better now ! I ask more questions than a nosey neighbor when someone calls about a puppy. I can barely stand to let them go at 12 or 14 weeks ! |
