| Swimming Yorkies I am just curious as to how many of you have Yorkie's that love to swim. I recently discovered that Sadie is a fish in the water. She loves the pool and when ever I am in it she jumps up on the side until I let her in and she loves to swim. Her son Thor also loves to swim. I have a raft in the pool with me when they are in there with me so when they get tired they climb in it. I am just amazed at how much they love it.

| Pixie LOVES swimming. Of course, her pool is the bathtub.. But she learned to swim in a creek, she got upset at my daughters playing in it when she was soo much more tinier than she is now, when she had for came home, and ran into the creek after them to "save" them. And then almost got caught by the very slow moving current, because she was so tiny, lol. When she gets her wash, I fill the tub up, and let her swim and splash around for a bit before the soap. |

| Mine all know how to swim. I taught them in the pool. Two love it and two prefer to stay dry. They are only allowed to swim in the pool. Here in Fl there are alligators in almost all fresh water ponds, rivers, creeks or lakes. The ocean has sharks, jelly fish etc. and the salt water is ucky if they swallow it. |

| Jackson is a swimming freak. Any body of water he can find -- he's usually in it (unless it's the bath).

| I wish my boys liked swimming! The most that they do is jump in the baby wading pool DH got them, splash around a little, and jump out. Neo has been taken to the beach, but does not care for it at all. Never tried with Connor, because he doesn't even care for the pool that much. One thing I do advise-- please get your baby a life jacket! You never know if he will really "need" it, but he'll have it on in case he gets in trouble! |

| Gracie Ruth loves to swim, she loves any water that isn't bath water. The boys both hate to be wet, it's a real struggle to get them to go out when it's been raining or there's a heavy dew on the ground. Bonnie doesn't mind the rain, but I haven't had an opportunity yet to see if she likes to go swimming. Gracie Ruth playing in the sprinkler Gracie Ruth in a real swimming pool. "Momma, wez so needz one of deez!!"

| I wonder if any of you have this problem. Thor likes to jump in the tub with me. I take really hot baths and I will not let him jump in with me but he just will not leave me alone when I am in the tub.

| solved by shutting the bathroom door. Problem with that is the bathroom door in the master bath is just two hanging doors. No knobs or locks so they just push it open. I guess I could lock them out of the bedroom but man would I hear the whines then, not bad with just one dog but all 4 of them would be crying.

| That is so cute! Shield was at a lake with us hiking Sat. He liked getting in to cool off but wasn't swimming or anything. He seems to like to stick his face in the hose outside. Not so crazy about baths. |

| That is too cute! The only time Sophie jumps in the pool is when she's going after a ball!! Other than that she loves to run along the edge barking at the swimmers playing!
