| Whst a little Monkey!! This weekend i have been spring cleaning my house and getting rid of EVERYTHING i dont want or need....... i hardly have anything left now haha Anyway sadly poppy has been behind the dog gate in the living room OR behind the dog gate in the kitchen. I live in a small one bed flat so she is just like meters away from me bless her but she had to be out the room away for fear of hurting her and she was ever so good, no crying, no barking just sat and watched mummy work hard haha!! So today i was busy and we had the front door open and Poppy was behind the dog gate WITH me in the livingroom so she didnt get lose... but when OH came into the room and the dog gate was opened and she done a runner out the front door and my OH was running after her around the street.... and i didnt even notice i was to busy working ANYWAY he came back in the house holding Poppy who looked very pleased with herself haha and i was like where have u been.... he was totally out of breathe. Poppy looked at me as i took a hold of her and OH told me she did a runner when he had to take the dog gate down to remove the TV. He shouted after her and she ignored him and she ran all over the street him running after her!! Soooooo there was no where for her to go for 10mins while we removed the tv so i said just put her in the bathroom for 10 while we get the tv outside. He put her in the bathroom and and got through his legs and started to head for the door again..... Sadly for her i seen her and said ..... Poppy get here NOW and she lay down on the floor lol and crawled towards me lol. I wonder why she always listens to me but never to OH? Oh and we put her in the bathroom for 10 minutes and she barked and did a poo on my bathroom floor lol That will teach me eh?

| Hahaha! Yeah, that should teach you not to put Poppy in the bathroom! But maybe she was trying to get out to potty, and your OH chasing after her got her excited and she thought it was playtime. These little stinkers. Kaji is the same way, he listens to me very well, and only listens to everyone else when it's convenient. Back when we lived with room mates, my roomie asked if I could leave Kaji with her, instead of up in my room while I was at work. While I was gone, she took her dog for a walk and thought she left mine at home. She ran into a cute yorkie, wearing a belly band walking down the sidewalk. She freaked out when she realized it was Kaji!!!!! Never again did I leave him alone with my rookie as a sitter.

| lol I'm sitting here laughing because i'm picturing it all. Too funny. lol Same with Ahi, she won't listen to my hubby or my kids for general "stop" demands. I can holler it across the room and she will instantly stop. LOL They can even say "no" in a demanding tone and she won't listen most times. I can say it in a nice playing way and she will just stop. She knows who's her mama.

| So glad Poppy didn't get hurt, but it was kind of funny imagining him running after her! I guess you found out that she really did want to go out!

He listens to my parents pretty well. They can have the front door open and he won't walk out. I guess he never bonded to my roomie???
