| Vaccinations I was taken when my vet asked me if I was sure I wanted the kennel cough vaccine for Toby. I asked why, and he said that being that he was so small I needed to be sure. I decided to decline for that visit and do my research. I got home and emailed the breeders who said that they never vaccinate for lepto or kennel cough but sent me wonderful links that contained tons of info on the diseases. I decided to completely decline the lepto, because I am aware of the ill effects the vaccine can have on these little guys, but am still clueless as to why the kennel cough would be harmful. Should I decline completely, or just wait until he is a little older? Any info or insight would be appreciated! Thanks a bunch! |
