| Clippers for eyes, etc. I'm looking into buying some clippers for Millie's eyes, ears, and sensitive area because I am trying to transition into grooming her completely by myself. I have clippers for the body, but she is so tiny, there's no way to use them on her face. Any suggestions on the best clippers for a good price? I have seen the Wahl Pro Pocket Trimmers, but there have mixed reviews. |

| Why do you shave around the eyes?

| Not shave, just trim closer than I can get with scissors. Millie has terrible allergies and her eyes get very gunky underneath so the vet suggested keeping that area as clean as possible. I have seen several yorkies with their eyes trimmed down for the same reasons. It's not noticeable a different length or shaven, just keeps a clean looking face! |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I have a little set by Oster that is made to go around the face. The trimmer head is about 3/4" wide, so you can get in pretty tight spaces. If your little girl is really tiny, you might want to consider getting one of the little battery powered eyebrow/bikini line trimmers. They are quite and easy to maneuver, plus the head is really tiny.

| I have had the Wahl for a long time and like it. I use it for toe hair. It has lasted well and you can get replacement blades. Not sure if it is small enough for the eye area though.

| I have a Peanut I bought at Sally's Beauty Supply and love it. I do girly area, in between her pads and I can tip the inside corner of her eyes with it. You can also buy the replacement blade there if is goes dull. Oh, runs by battery and it's a little palm held gaget. I too like the inside corner tipped on Zhoie, it opens her eyes us so much more and not as much hair gets in them.

It's more of a shallow hummm type noise, not loud at all...more of a vibrate/ low humming sound. I place it in the palm of my hand, back of the trimmer in my palm and the blade pointing down towards my feet, then I just lift my hand up over the front of her eyebrows and the right corner of the blade nips the right eye corner hair and then I do the samething on the left side with the left corner of the blade. Hope...that makes some sense. Try holding it that way, if you don't hold it like that already.
