| Does your Yorkie like walking in the dark? Companion thread to Brit's thread on what season your Yorkie prefers: Does your Yorkie like walking at night, after dark? Teddy loves it. Max prefers daylight and seems sort of nervous.

| I'm not sure yet as I haven't able to walk Ahi anywhere since she hasn't had all her shots yet. But she loves to run through the house in the dark. lol I have to tell the kids to do the "Yorkie Shuffle" and turn on the lights cause that little furbutt loves to explore in the dark.

| Uni will take a walk whenever she can get one. Me on the other hand, I don't like walking at night bc I can't see where the poop is that all the neighbors don't pick up!

| Jackson gets more nervous in the dark, I think. When we went camping and it was dark, every little noise he would become alert to, and if loud teenagers walked by and came about suddenly without warning, he'd start barking, lol. During the day, anyone could go by him and he could care less. So yeah I'd say he's not big on walking in the dark.

| Farley will walk well day or night, but i would say he prefers day. We dont walk much in the dark, but when we go camping and walk in the dark he is very jumpy and barks at everything. |

| Princess wont walk much in either condition at home, she'll only do the perimeter of our building during the day but wont leave the front at night. She seems kind of paranoid or something, really jumpy when the wind blows or anything.

| My two love walking whenever. We will often go on walks in our neighborhood at night and they enjoy it.

| Teddy walks REALLY fast in the dark. I wonder if it's because he's scared?

| Sophie doesn't really like going for walks in general...she prefers to run around with my mom's dogs or my mother in-law's dogs in their backyards. I did take her for a walk at night a week or so ago and the poor thing was afraid of her shadow or my shadow. She whimpered everytime my shadow was in front of her and wouldn't walk once she saw her own. |

| Ivan and Iris will pretty much go day or night. Iris sometimes takes a bit of coaxing but Ivan is always ready for a walk. They both seem to enjoy it no mater when it is. I hate walking them in the dark though, so we avoid it as much as possible. They are both little hoovers and it's harder to keep them from eating stuff in the dark. |

| I don't like to walk in the dark so my dogs don't have a choice. Mommy is a big scaredy cat. We have to many wild creatures around here we can't see. They prefer the AC house.

| It is not safe to walk at night here but she goes out her doggie door to use the potty at night ok as long as the outside lights it on if its not she will sit inside by the doggie door and cry. One of her favorite things to do is to chase animals at night and make mommy go running outside in her pjs when she goes out for her last potty break and does a bark (she rarely barks) so the bark makes me think something is wrong.
