| I give my babies yogurt when they have an upset tummy...just a spoonfull tho they always want more. I asked my vet and she said its funny that they react so well with yogurt and it totally gets rid of their runs when majority say to avoid all dairy. she said that she definitely thinks its fine because of the pribiotics.

| We give Tigger about 1 tablespoon every night with dinner and he loves it! Litterally licks the spoon completely clean. We were also worried about the dairy situation, but he just went to the vet and 1) he is healthy as a button, and 2) the vet said it was totally fine to give him that amount. Hope that helps! |

| We buy the plain yogurt and then add some type of fresh fruit. Mine have never had a problem with yogurt, but there are those who don't tolerate dairy very well.

| Yogurt is great for dogs in moderation. Giving a teaspoon or even a tablespoon once a day will not hurt them. Make sure you use one with live cultures so they get the benefit of the probiotics. You especially want to give live culture yogurt after your dog has had antibiotics for any reason or been sick so that the proper beneficial bacterial levels in the gut are restored. My dogs like the vanilla flavored yogurt the best Teresa |

| Yogurt is ok. It helps with tummy issues. I only use plain yogurt and have yet to try the Greek ones but heard that its really good.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Use plain yogurt with NO sugar, and NO artificial sweeteners either. You might want to look at this thread: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...oods-dogs.html. It tells of 20 human foods that are healthy for our dogs, and yogurt is number 1!

| I buy Fage (plain 0 fat) Greek yogurt for Ian, and he loves it! (So do I.) He has about a tablespoon, three times a week for his lunch.

| Every night before bed Chloe has a spoonful of Activia yogurt and she has absolutely no tummy issues. I actually started to give her it to help settle her system and it has worked like a charm |
