| He Ate Chilli!!!???!! My bf left the living room for about 30 secs to go grab the phone and when he got back he found harley with his head over his bowl of chilli!!! He apparently didn't get a whole lot but I'm worried.. It's only been about 2 min since he ate it and so far he hasn't acted funny or gotten sick.. Should I be freaking out like I am?? Here is the ingredients list.. 1 c.diced onions 1 clove garlic, minced 1 green pepper, diced 2 diced carrots 1/2c. celery, diced 1 can corn, drained 1 large can tomato sauce 2tsp. chilli powder 2 tsp. pepper 1 can kidney beans (16oz) 1 1/2 lb. ground beef

| Woody did that too!! He'll be ok, unless he is alergic to any of the ingredients. Give him a few pieces of bread. That's what my Vet told me to do for Woody. He did get a stomache but he was fine. In the future, if you think he ate poison 1 tablespoon of Hydogen Peroxide will make him puck out everything he ate. Sometimes you have to give a second dose 20 minutes later.

| Grab a clothespin for your nose and try not to worry too much about your doggy. I bought a puppy a few years ago and when I gave her kisses, my lips burned. I couldn't figger it out but I talked with his mom and she reminded me that she had a parrot and there were chili peppers in the bird food and the seeds popped out onto the floor. Doggie ate them and had from the time she was allowed out of the pen... |

| So far so good.. His behavior hasn't changed at all but he has lots-o-farts! Ewww! Oh and he decided to munch on and eat some of the zipper on his mommys favorite A&F sweater.. But I'm not too worried about that bc the little teeth are so small I doubt he'll have any trouble passing them.. But what does bother me is the fact that my ferret pulled it out of my open dresser drawer and apparently drug it close enough to Harleys play pen that he could grab it! I think they're in this little gig together! What do you guys think? As far as the peroxide.. Harley has a gut of steel for sure. My vet recommended the peroxide to me too since Harley is a serious vaccume machine and once I caught him swallowing something, I gave him a tablespoon of peroxide and nothing happened.. Waited a couple minutes.. gave him another and nothing happened.. My vet was amazed and I was like.. Hmm.. If he can eat all the junk he's eaten so far with no reactions, then it's no wonder the peroxide didn't phase him.. He's nuts..

| Well the Chilli recipe sounds really good! No wonder he wanted a taste . I think he'll be just fine. Whenever I dice onions in the kitchen, Monkey and Maddie always stand right under me to catch something when it falls (I'm a messy cook and they know it). Sometimes they catch a few pcs, but they've been okay. Yes, be sure of the gas and maybe a slight upset stomach with a little mess to clean up...LOL!

| as I was growing up (I mentioned before was raised in a breeding home)we had poodles, boxers and my brother had a mini dox that followed him everywhere, my brother purposely would feed the dox chile and then lock him in my bedroom... Whisper is right, the chile wont hurt your pup at all but the smell might kill you!!! oh the sweet smell of memories!!! not!!!
