| I wanted to say hello :) Hi Everyone, I have just joined YT and I have to say that I am so happy to have found this website. I am in my early forties happily married to a great man and the mother of two wonderful daughters. I work part time at present due to my youngest child having a very serious illness that requires a great deal of time. She has been sick since the age of 13. In the past couple of years she has been in hospital or treatment in total for over 8 months. We are currently getting ready for 6-12 months of day hospital in Toronto. I am hoping that with continued dedication and devotion that she will get better. We almost lost her a couple of times but God willing she will one day be healthy again. I have two dogs, my first is a 12 year old Scnoodle named Georgie and then there is sweet little Chloe who is two years old. Chloe became a part of my life after my DD purchased her from a terrific breeder in Toronto. She spent a crazy amount of her own money buying her, vet costs and all of the trappings that go along with getting a Yorkie. In no time at all I fell in love with Chloe. I was never lucky enough to know a little fur-baby and I had no idea how quickly they wrap you around their little paw. Chloe always sleeps with me and I found that I was spoiling my little Grand-baby We live in a rural part of Hamilton and my DD spends a great deal of time in Hamilton so of course I was taking care of Chloe most of the time(no hardship there ) About two months ago I had been in bed with the flu for over a week with little Chloe staying by my side leaving only long enough for food and potty breaks. My DD came in to my room and told me that she had made a decision that she was happy with.... she told me that Chloe was now my little one. She said that it would be beyond cruel to take her when the time comes for her to move out on her own. Not only do I never have to let go of my little girl but my DD showed me how much she cares about me too Chloe has brought a great deal of joy into my life at a time when it is sometimes hard to find. She is a gift not only from my DD but from God. I truly believe she is my little angel. I wanted to thank all of you who contribute to YT. I have learned so much here and it's reassuring to know that I am not the only one that is crazy about their little one (even if my family thinks I am a little nuts LOL) I am looking forward to getting to know all of you here and Thank you for letting be part of such a warm and caring community Tina |
