| She takes 2 1/2 hours to eat a meal?? Those poor dogs. That woman did not deserve the love of not one but TWO yorkies, and now they are dead bc of her selfishness and stupidity.

| Who takes their yorkies to the vet, just to leave them in a hot car to die while you eat?

| Maybe if there were more severe consequences for this then maybe people would stop doing it! This is just pure stupidity in my opinion. Where has the world's common sense gone to!?

| Why don't people think about what they are doing? There have been numerous warnings all over the news about the heat and leaving animals in cars especially with the heat that has been going on in Minnesota and Wisconsin the last few weeks. I had to run in the library quickly after work and Ella was with me and we took her home first. I wouldn't leave her for even a few minutes let alone 2.5 hours..

| I was helping at a rummage sale for our therapy dog group in the heat of the Alabama summer. I came out and there was what appeared to be an older dog in the car with the windows cracked. I blew a gasket and yelled at someone in the parking lot to get me a leash and some water and to go page the stupid owner that left their dog in the car. I got the water first and sat in the car with the dog with the door opened. After I got the dog out of the car, I waited for the woman. She came out with her arms full of "stuff" she'd bought at the sale. I was furiuos and told her that she was lucky she still had a dog. She acted sorry - I hope I got through to her, but it still haunts me.

| You know if you love something or someone you would do anything to protect it from harm. I may be overprotective of mine but thats okay too. I would never leave them in a hot car like that. Well, I wouldn't leave mine in a car whether it was hot or cold. I just don't think common sense has anything to do with it anymore. There are too many dying from this. Even little human babies. I think it is just down right selfish and cruel. THey just don't give a hoot. Those poor little darlings. She should have to be made to sit in a hot car 2hrs. and see if she servives. It just makes me sick all over. |
