| should I be concerned?? Madison, my three year old yorkie, has been burping. It sounds like she's spitting up. But nothing ever comes out of her mouth. It is almost like she maybe be swallowing it?? Like acid reflux?? No diet changes. hasn't eaten anything different or anything like that. I noticed it a few times yesterday. I've heard her do it a few times so far today. It's not quite noon here. Is this worthy of going to the vet? or wait and see? She does get pumpkin daily with her food. I know pumpkin is good for digestion. Looking for words of wisdom from some of our experts here. thank you ahead of time. Cheri |

| This is a perfect example of two dogs of the same breed with different personality traits and the need of different training methods. Just as people are all different and yet all fall into different personality groups dogs are not all made the same. Sounds like your little girl has a bit of a alpha personality. I'm sure she is just as smart as your male but has learned that she does not need to respond to her name. There is a good website called dogstardaily.com that has some good training instruction and videos available. My dog loves chicken and responds well to a chicken treat. Once the lesson is learned you can start to tapper off the treats. I don't do a lot of training anymore but I do insist that my dog knows sit, stay, down, and come. They are life saving commands. We do everything we can to protect our dogs but sometimes accidents happen and if your dog ever gets loose you want to know it will respond to those commands. |

| I hope you get some more replies. I can't really help either. Is she dry heaving, trying to vomit or she's definitely burping?

| Your right I'm sorry. I have the help of a dog and two cats while I'm trying to use my lap top. Someone took up key boarding while I answered the phone. I can train my dog but the cats still think they can type. |
