| Hes a little chubby When Chachi went to the vet today with his eye problems the vet said he is 15 lbs and should be about 12. He didnt say to put him on a diet but he said not to let him get any bigger. I was glad my Husband was there because he gives him and Jewels tablescraps I dont. I still may put him on a diet because I worry about his joints. He doesnt look that big either I was amazed.

| Aw. I got in big trouble from my vet because Coco and Pebbles are overweight. I free feed them kibble and it is weight management. I am going to have to only feed the 4 of them in the morning and at night. I also told the doctor that my husband insists of sneaking them table food at dinner. There should be a "weight watcher" section on YT for the babies!!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | These little ones need so little food; even a 15 pounder doesn't need that much food. Joey's breeder said that after the age of 4, you really need to watch it. Joey gained an extra pound after trick training class, and the vet said to reduce his kibble by 1/3 and add a few green beans to help fill him up. He lost slow and steady about 1 ounce a week, but in 4 months he was down to a healthy weight and it didn't seem to mind his weight loss diet. My problem is when I'm eating something healthy, I want to share it. Will a teaspoon of scrambled eggs really hurt and he loves it so much?

| We love them so much it is hard to say no. I am very blessed to have three that stay perfectly slim. But (the Lab) Lily gets over weight and so does the puppy Ginny Joy (she is a Yorkie). I have to feed the doggies in their crates to keep Lily and Ginny Joy from eatting their own food, then gulping down what anyone else didn't eat. Lily and Ginny Joy also sneek treats from DH. |
