| Carseat questions AGAIN I know,I know, we have had several discussions on carseat vs tethers. Where to put the carseat in your car. What kind of carseat you like and why. I purchased a tether and travel harness for Mina for the truck. So now that I have decided that Mina will be getting a size sml lookout for the back of my car. I would like to know WHERE you purchased your lookout from and if you were happy with vendor. Is there a YT member that sells the lookout? What kind of deal did you find? Thank you in advance for taking the time to answer my questions. |

| I use a travel kennel that I can secure with the seat belt. In Arizona, the kennel offers a little shade in the car which is a benefit. I put it in the front seat - two reason for me. First they can see me thru the door to the kennel. Second, I can make sure the A/C is blowing on the them. When it is 115, the back seat does not always get cool enough for me to feel comfortable putting them in the back seat. . Years ago with two of my other babies I used to drive back and forth from Arizona to Wyoming to visit my folks. They were great in the car and never got car sick, but they had to have different kennels because the younger one would bug the crap out of the older one. I put their kennels in the back seat and strapped them in so their kennel doors were facing each other. Funny, they did not want to be in the same kennel, but they needed to be able to see each other - I love how their little brain work! |

| This is Sophie in her Pet Snoozer car seat. It's very comfortable for her and she can see out the windows. It's in our back seat. The seat belt slides through the back of it to keep it secure. It also has a leash attached to her harness. I got it from HunterK9 site and I think I paid around $50.00 or so.

| Top Paw™ Booster Seat - Car Seats - Travel - PetSmart Giz loves that one, I love that it comes with an attachable food/water dish and has a little compartment under the pad for me to put his outfits, harnesses, etc.

| I got Callies from gwlittle.com a few years ago. Then when I was buying my mom one when she got Sammy I bought it from snoozerpetproducts.com and was very happy with the cost of shipping and customer service so when we found out that a larger carseat would take up less room then the two smaller carseats together in the back when we are taking them places together we also got the big carseat from there and I was again very happy with shipping prices.

YT Addict | Abby has a Kurgo booster seat. It is like a box that straps into the seat and then she is tethered with the harness. She can lay down and sleep in peace or she can look out and check out her surroundings. If you google it it is the orange one she has. She likes hers |

| Because it gets cold here in the winter, Cali has a car seat that can be heated when needed - she loves it and gets really cozy. It has a teather for security, and she can see out the winter. Amazon.com: Heated Dog Booster Seat Medium... If you put them in the front seat be careful of the airbags. My car has a way to turn the passenger air bag off when she is in the front seat, but it could be dangerous if it deployed.

If it gets that kind of cold here in TX,I just dont leave the house.BRRR Thanks for the reminder about the airbag. I can not turn the airbag off in my car,we did some research on it. This is why I want a booster for her,so she can see out in the back seat. Sweet hubby was asking why I wanted to add something to my car. I told him it was kind of like he and his tools and the motorcycle. Mina and I would just be happier if she can see out and ride in the backseat, He said "good enough reason to him". | |

| Picked out the carseat that I wanted. Chose GWLittle to make the purchase. They had sent me a 15% off coupon by email a couple of weeks ago, found that in my deleted items. Thank you everyone for sharing what you have and why you like it. I really do appreciate it. |

| I have the same car seat in my car that Taryn posted. SO has a PawRider tether in his car. Roxie prefers the tether to the car seat.
