Hello Hello!! I am new to this. I just got my yorkie for Christmas. I have wanted one forever but my parents always thought it was stupid to spend that much money on a dog. My husband knew how much I have always wanted one so he bought Hailey for me for Christmas!! I have to admit it is the best present I have ever gotten. She is PERFECT. I just wanted to say that this sight is helpful and keep up the good work!!

How Very Luckyk You are! My husband said NO More Dogs when our Peke died from cancer in March. I said phooey and got Snoodles the first of April. The first day, he tried to ignore her---Ha!---and by the second day he thought it was the most wonderful dog we have ever had! I know you will enjoy her tremendously! I know I do. Such a different personality and energy then I have had from other dogs. The only thing I don't like, is she wakes me up early every morning! Oh Well! Keeps me going, I guess! Pat

Yep..my hubby also said no .....My yorkie, Oscar, died 2 years ago and we just had the greyhound for so long....I got my 'default' chihuahua and that turned out well.....but I still wanted another yorkie. My hubby said NO more dogs.......the whole time I was reading newspaper ads and internet ads....reading each and every one to him!! One day I just turned to him and said "I'm getting a yorkie.....probably in 2 weeks will pick her up"..... Almost like magic he seemed to think it would be a good idea to get a yorkie! Husbands can be funny creatures, can't they??????

Boy that's for sure! He never wanted any dog I bought, but fell i n love with them after awhile. He likes this dog betteer than any other we've had, so am glad of that. Would have been nice if he was enthusiastic from the beginning, but we can't ask for everything, can we? Ha! Pat

Thanks for all the replies! My husband says he doesn't like her but he talks to her when he gets home before he talks to me. I came home from work the other day to a note saying he went to the carwash to wash his truck and took the dog with him!!
