| My husband and I made a list of names we thought would be appropriate. Since Pixie is so small, we tried to stay with words that portrayed her tiny stature. Then I asked a few people what their favorite name on the list was (everyone had a different favorite). In the end, my husband and I just picked our favorite... |

| Well we chose Riley's name because Riley means like brave. When Riley was a little puppy he was very small (compared to our old basset anyways) and sooo helpless and scared. The name is alaso Irish (so are we) so we really loved it! TJ's name came about in a different way. TJ took us about a week and a half to name. Nothing seemed to fit at all. I just loved the name Theodore but I didn't want anyone to call him Theo. My mom wanted to call him Junior. We put them together (Theodore Junior) and came out with TJ!! |

| I guess alot of people don't really like the name Taylah--as I found out yesturday! Me and Tay went to my grandmas for a bit to spend some time with her and visiting other family that was there and my Mom and all, and well my Mom's BF is such a rude guy--honestly. They have always picked on me about Taylah's name and say it just doesn't fit her -- mostly because *they* don't like it. Sooo to pick on me and so forth they decide to confuse my baby and call her Ta-wan! Which makes NO sense.. and I've asked over and over why they do this and they are like, "Well Taylah is a stupid name and so is Ta-wan, so whats the difference? Grrrrrrrrr.. it makes me so upset! And of course Tay doesn't answer it to it, but its just the point of it.

| haha I forgot to anaswer the part where I got the name from! Well since my Dh technically named Daphne (our pom) I wanted a sassy name by ME for our next baby. First I wanted all sorts of names.. but fell in love with Taylor (I LOVE this name for a skin-baby but my husband doesnt like it, so I wanted to kinda use it for our furbaby ), I just decided to *sassy* it up a bit and got Taylah... I LOVE her name and my husband does to. He says it fits her to well and shes starting to grow into it, and I love it.

| I think Taylah is a very pretty name. I dont think they know what they are talking about. My husband and I thought up Chachi's name. My daughter wanted our female to be Jewels. Our breeder had a jewels and my daughter liked the name. I have gotten comments that Jewels is a pretty name. No one has really said anything about Chachis.

| The breeder named her Trixie. She did tell us we could change her name if we wanted too. And we were planning on it, until my mom said 'Oh, you named her after the queen. That's so cute' (I'm originally from the Netherlands and the queen's name is BeaTRIX). Plus I figured she'd been Trixie for 14 weeks by then and really listened to her name. When I tell people her name they always say that it's an old-fashioned name. That a lot of dogs were named Trixie back in the days.

| Well since Simon was a rescue, I never thought of names so I watched his little personality for awhile and was debating between Simon (after trash talking Simon Cowell on American Idol) and Emmitt (after my favorite xmas movie Emmitt Otter's Jugband Christmas) but he preferred Simon! Hallie was 2 when I rescued her and that was her name, I thought about changing it to Sadie but figured she had been through enough and kept it. I get a lot of comments on Simon's name (people think it's a "funny" name) but I ignore them becuase frankly I don't care what they think |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | With Cali we had weeks to decide on a name before we brought her home so we had a list on the dry erase board on the fridge and we added and subtracted as we changed our minds. I really wanted Abby or Hailey but Cali short for California, where we wish we all lived, was the only name my hubby, dtr and I could all agree on. Everybody pronounces her name like Kelly, if drives me nuts, my dad calls her casi? |

| Peawee actually picked his name. I wanted his name to be Charlie and after a couple of days that I had him my dad was sitting outside and was talking to him and said that he was a lil peawee he got so excited and came running up to him and would never answer to anything but peawee. So I guess it stuck. It's what he wanted but I have to say I prefer the name Charlie.

| My son named Jeter. He admires Derek Jeter of the Yankees and thought it would be neat to name the lil guy that. I must say that everyone that comments on his name, has something positive to say. |
