| Washable Pee Pads. Hmmm ok, I love the belly bands, but they are not working out. I know they are not for "potty training" but I honeslty thought they might work. Well Pnut keeps peeing in them. I took the band off the other night and Pnut just peed all over me, He thought he had the band on, and just peed.. I have a pad down, by the door. I keep taking him out to go potty outside, he will use the pad. My question is, should I keep a pad down if I want to train him to go outside?? I really dont want to spend 50$ on a box of pads either. With the washable pee pads, does that teach them to go on fabric? I am so confused!

| I use washable, my pups don't pee on any other fabric. They know where and what to potty on. I had the same problem with the belly bands when I tried to use them for training on my Odie. They're trained on pads, but they go outside as well. |

| I tried belly bands because Odie was taken with my couch and thought I'd try them but for some reason he thought they were to potty in all the time, as soon as I put one on he'd potty in it. I did something wrong maybe. |

| I want to, (some day) take away the pads. I have a problem spending 50$ on a box of something I just throw away!! That is crazy!! How many times a week do you guys wash yours? Do you have a couple of them to swap out? Are they smelly, like do they hold the pee smell more? Did your babies pee on them right away? Or were they like what the heck??

| Mine took right to the washables. I have about 12 of them, maybe a few more, I change them twice a day and throw them right in the wash as soon as I pick them up. I wash them with bleach and hot water and they never hold on to any smell.

LoL I said uhh ya just like I washed the belly bands lol then he was like oh ya. I used color bleach and didnt wash them with any clothes! Dh's are sillly!

| I use washables from T Bumpkins and LOVE them. My three are fine when I'm home but when I leave for work for a long day they just don't hold it. They do not pee on other things inside the house and use the pee pads. I usually pick them up once a day and wash in hot water and unscented detergent. Never an odor and I love how you can pick your own fabrics too! They hold so much pee it's unbelievable and they never leak~ever. Sometimes I will pick it up to to wash and it feels so heavy yet you cannot see the pee because they have a pretty cover. Love them!

I have bands for Cathy too and love the Bumpkin barriers. There are times that I use them too since my Doodlebug can be a bad boy

| I know, I love the barriers too!! I am still going to use them, but I want to get him a little more trained than he is. I didnt want him to think it was ok to pee whenever he wanted, and thats what he was doing when he had the bands on him. I am def going to use them when we go places, He can be a little stink pot and lift his lil leg!!
