| Nya Update I spoke to her new vet on Thursday because she was still not eating or drinking, he asked if she seemed like she was in pain and I said no. He then said well then take her off all her meds. We figured maybe they were upsetting her tummy. Last night she took some steak from my hubby then ate A/D out of my hand but still no drinking on her own. This morning I decided to leave her be and see waht she did incase I was just getting enough water into her via syringe that she was just not thirsty, she went and had a HUGE drink and has continued to drink today. Tonight will tell a story about the eating, crossing fingers she eats again. If so i think I got my little girl back. This has been such an emotional and exhausting week. I just started a new job so between learning that and taking care of this one I am beat..... We have noticed a new lump on her belly, between her belly and her chest, hubby thinks maybe a hernia, i sure hope not as this little one's body does not accept anesthetic so I do not know what we will do???? Thanks for all the prayer while she was in such bad shape.

| Oh poor baby and mommy and daddy too. I am glad to hear she is improving what a scary and upsetting experience for you all! I hope it does not turn out to be a hernia. Have you discussed the anethesia issue with the new vet? Perhaps there is a better type of anesthesia to use that will keep her under without slowing her rate down in case surgery is needed in the future. Wishing you all the very best. Prayers for sweet Nya!
