| Depends on your lifestyle and needs. We do both outdoors and piddle pads. Works very well for us.

YorkieTalk Newbie! | we rescued a male and he will go potty outside, but, he will still poo in his bed! i know it is because the people that had him, did NO training whatsoever and he was forced to stay in his bed for hours as a pup w/o going out or anything.... i found out they put a pad in his bed and he would rip it to shreds and mess on it! H E L P, I have done the leash training, so he will go while on the leash, and he will go w/o, but, sometimes, perhaps once or twice a week, he will mess in his bed! I even changed from the wire cage style to a much smaller pet taxi style thinking it would help, hubby is furious that he won't learn not to mess in his bed, as our english lab has never gone in her bed nor in the house..... what to do?! |

| Does it really matter? They go where they want, when they want, and not a darn thing you can do about it! Actually, we are almost there with Basil going outside. Caper is pad trained, but have 2 unneutered males is no fun......until the day they go in for the snip snip here. ...... |

| Indoor on the potty patch. We live next door to woods with all kinds of wild animals and association won't allow a fence in our backyard. It's kind of nice when it is storming or in the middle of a blizzard since Macy is scared of thunder.

| Indoor and outdoor! Best of both worlds. Bell trained for outside and litterbox for inside It all boils down to personal preference I guess. I like to know mine don't have to hold it if they have to go when Im not home

| We do both. It's nice not having to worry if I am running late in getting home from work.

| Indoor pad trained. I love the convenience due to my irregular work hours. I also like that as long as I have a pee pad with me, she has a place to go potty no matter where we are; friend's home, my daughter's apartment, my son's dorm room, etc.
