| Need the help of my fellow Yorkie mommies and daddies out there... Hello all, I just wanted to let you all know, that I am giving it serious thought about getting another yorkie. This time a female, that I plan to get fixed because I have two boys. What I need your help is.... Do males and femails get along, I don't want them to constantly fight... Also am I crazy to want another dog. My dad says I am, but I have no children and I never will, I can handle another dog, cause I already have two, one more dog to take out or clean up after isn't going to hinder me too much, just the only thing it will be any big deal would be vet bills and groomers bills, but then I can always save money up for it. What do you all think, am I crazy for wanting another dog? Oh my dogs are as of righ now... Rocky a 4 yr old Shih-tzu Nicky my two year old yorkie and they both get along quite well, just wonder of 3 if they wouldn't get along UGH the thoughts I have running through my head, I would REALLY love a little girl poochie, sigh, lol.

| My Jada and Bogie get along perfectly. I can honestly say that they have been together almost 2 years and they have never had the first even small scuffle. They are by each others side constantly. Jada was a little over 2 years old when we got Bogie and he was 10 months old at the time. I will say that Jada is spayed and Bogie was neutered about 2 weeks after we got him.

| Are you males neutered? If no, be very careful and have her fixed at 6 mos....definitely don't want any of those oops. I do love my girl, they are more independent and opinionated, but that so works for me. Boys are more cuddle for the most part and you already have that. Zhoie is now 2.5 and she has turned into a total mommies girl and snuggly as can be. I've hard males & females do great together. You know your finances and have taken that into consideration...so, if you can afford it....go for it.

| As a general rule, females and males make the best pairings, although anything can happen. I have a male and a female and they love each other so much, they are always together, kissing and playing.

| I love having a girl. She is such a sweetheart! You will enjoy having a girl! Make sure to get her fixed. That way there is no accidents!! I only have the one. She is my little side kick. Although I have been wanting another. I think they all would get along fine together. Good luck on your search.

| I got my girl Tessie first so I got a male Hobbes 6 weeks later, had them spay/neutered at the same time. They got along great, added another male a year later Calvin and they also did great. He was neutered also. I decided I needed another female so I got Sassy a year later, boy was that pushing it she rules all the dogs. She is 8 months and was spayed on Thursday hoping this will calm her down. She loves the boys but torments Tessie. I think she will be ok when she gets a little older. I think 3 would work good.

| First off I want to say THANK YOU ALL for your responces, I am now getting even more excited about finding a baby girl pup!! I planed on getting her fixed as soon as she is of age!! I don't want any ooops's Nicky LOVES to cuddle, Rocky not so much anymore. Nicky is always trying to give Rocky kisses or snuggle with him and Rocky wants nothing to do with snuggle time or the kisses, I call him the grinch of snuggle time and kisses, lol. But Rocky does love to get his belly scratched lol. Rocky has always pretty much been a loaner, I just love that Nicky LOVES to snuggle and be my side kick, I guess I kinda want another yorkie just so Nicky can share his snuggle and kisses with her and her with him. I will keep you all posted on my quest!! Huggles Angie

| I have three. I have puppy fever bad I guess you always want more. They get along most of the time. The oldest is a little grumpy-- but he has always been that way. The boys are stuck to me, and my little Remy loves her daddy. Oh Well.. But I get to dress her, and sew for her and all the things that are really more for me than her. I wish you luck in what ever you decided.

| would you not concider getting your boys fixed? i dont know, but would there not be a strong possibility of the boys developing dominance issues if they are both intact and a girl comes into their home? it would be terrible if your boys started arguing over the little girl! and if they were neutered then there would deffinately be no whoopsies (one of my girls went into heat at 4 1/2 months)to worry about! they do deffinately love to have a cuddle buddy for when mommy isn't around

| We have two boys who get along beautifully and are little snuggle bugs....we adopted a little girl about 3 weeks ago...a little terrier mix and had no problems with her and the boys getting along. (She is more of a daddy's girl though and not as snuggly) Anyway the three of them get along great. |
