| gnawing sidewalk Does anyone have problems with yorkies wanting to gnaw at their sidewalks? I take my 14 week old yorkie outside and she wants to gnaw at the sidewalk. If I take her away from the sidewalk, she makes a bee line back to the walk again. This can't be normal. Please help!!! |

| I don't know about the sidewalk gnawing, but I definitely wouldn't be having my 14 week old outside on the ground.

| She's just a pup, so young! Everything is new to her. Puppies are often really bad with leash walking, etc, and prefer to just go in every which direction smelling, and eating things. Maybe enroll her in puppy classes? They teach leash walking. I took Jackson outside as a 9 week old ... never heard of keeping pups inside 'til all their shots were done until joining this site. But I'd just be careful about where you are walking and make sure she is not getting into poop or eating things, etc. No dog parks or pet stores or places where diseases are more popular.

| You have gotten good advice. I have never heard of eating the sidewalk, but, Kayla eat the drywall above our bed. ugh!!! Little buggers. They will eat and get into everything. Its like having a 2yr. old child all over again. |
