| My handsome Sushi!! and a BAD haircut!!! Hello this is Suchi, he is 6 months old, and is our first Yorkie, we are in love with him. Also I made the mistake of taking him to have a haircut, and the result is terrible!!! I feel so guilty . How long do you think it will take for him to grow hair?... Also he is so thin, do you think he is okey? I would appreciate if any of you would tell me the kind of hair that he has. I mean silky or cotton. As I say this is my first little one |

| Aww hes cute! . it doesnt look so bad. hes just in the akward teenager phase .if you trim around the ears closer to the leather, maybe tip them and bring the siloette from the outer edge of the ear to the jaw to meet better (blend it ) It would look a little better.did you ask the groomer to strip him? they really should have showed you a picture of a yorkie that short to be sure you wanted it that way. |

| Sushi is just adorable! He reminds me so much of my Neo, especially the long, skinny legs. I would just let his legs feathers grow out, but keep his body short for summer, if that works for you. It makes a world of difference in his appearance that way. As far as coats go--I'd bet money that he is a "cottony" or soft coat, just like Neo. One way to tell is by "eye shine" when you take his picture. If the reflected light shows red or orange, then if I'm correct that means a cottony coat. If it shines green, then it is silky. |

| I think Sushi looks as cute as a button!! I am sure you were shocked to see him cut so short, but it will grow out. Actually that cut will be perfect for the summer. Here is a link to how I keep my two now. I just keep the leg feathers and keep the topknot and ear hair longer. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...spired-us.html

| It will take you a couple of days to get used to his new cut. Its always shocking when you first see them and they got a short cut. He will be cool for the summer and it will grow back quickly. Hes a cutie!

| This is a really great summer cut. Sort of similar to what Buster and Maggie get. It's so hot where we live they need something like that. I think they are cute with the short hair. It does take some getting used to when you first pick them up. But afer a couple of days, you won't miss the old cut. Buster is very thin with long, skinny legs, like Sushi. Very cute, I think.
