YT Addict | Tikka is a teapot! Today I took Tikka to the vet for a urinary analysis because she was leaking urine during her sleep/rest. It indeed was undoubtedly a UTI, which really didn't surprise me. What surprised me what when she got on the scale and it read "8lbs 6oz" Holy crap. When we got her on Easter her owners said she was about 7lbs [originally they said 4lbs, then called us a couple days later to say they had weighed her and she was more like 7lbs and asked if we still wanted her], and she was fat then. She's lost weight since she came to us, we have our dogs on scheduled feeding because they will both devour food as soon as its seen. But wow, either the previous owners were off OR the vet's scale is off. Haha my little Tikka, a whopping 8.5lbs. More to love hey?

| Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! Yaaaaaay!!!! I Like Em Bigger, For Sure!!!! She's ADORABLE!!!!!! Riley weighed in at 8lbs. 2oz at 1-year old. I think he is the Perfect Size!! Still small enough to take anywhere but big enough where I'm not as nervous with him running/jumping and playing with the bigger pups we run into. |

YT Addict | @rileyDC, thanks! i am glad she is big, i knew she was at least 7lbs, but 8.5 wow! she is so fun, and i love her so much. perfect size indeed, light enough for a bag, big enough that she's sturdier and has a lot more stamina than our 5lb pom. And thanks, I hope she is feeling better soon too! Her diaper is pretty funny I will admit... kind of a makeshift. And Jessy... yes! Some oil and leave in conditioner have done wonnnnders for her in the last couple weeks! Her light steel blue coat might actually come in, it's showing on her legs roots and her sides!

| Tikka is a doll! I hope she feels better soon. She looks so pitiful, but adorable in her picture. I think 8lbs is a good weight. My biewer Bogie weighs a little over 8lbs and Jada is 6lbs. Bogie with the 2 extra lbs and sturdier bone structure can do so much more than Jada with her short little legs.

| Vet scales don't lie... I know what you mean about vet weigh in surprises... my little Marley was 8 1/2 # at rescue... Vet said "no porkie yorkies". Hold him at that weight. Then, I weighed him on Saturday and he was 9 1/2 #!! Uh oh... he had a stomach upset a while back and I was cooking him chicken and rice... need to get back to the dry Canin. He loves his food, but his knees don't need the weight. |
