| Nail Dremel opinons please i have been using the pedipaws and have grown to hate it---it takes forever---i want a smaller dremel (cordless would be nice but not nessasary, and light weight) i have been looking online for one, but thought id see what everyone likes/uses for those that do there own pups nails. i have a regular size dremel--but its LOUD and i believe its way to big to use on maddie.

| I use Pedi Paws... have you changed the sanding disk thingy? I know when mine gets worn down it takes a long time to do just one nail! With a Dremel, you have to be careful that their hair doesn't get caught in it....

| yes i have changed it--maddies nails are kinda thick, i think thats why it take so long---her hair is shorter on her paws, so i think she will be ok---thanks though

| Are her nails long? I did have trouble with one of mine and I decided to use snips to take off most of the nail, and now I just keep them short with the Pedi Paws. Don't know if that helps any...lol.

| I have gone through two Dremel Mini Mites, both were rechargeable cordless dremels and I loved them. The first one I had probably just needed a new battery, which you can get, but I bought the whole thing. Right now I am using a regular dremel and it's fine, but I prefer the cordless. I think they work great. You can get the sanding bands in different grits too.

| Anyone use this one? Amazon.com: Oster 78129-600 Gentle Paws Cordless... It's a pain to cut Jackson's nails. Like you said with Maddie, he fusses so much, it's not even worth it. It takes me 5 minutes to one nail cut, lol. We are working on it. It's not that he spazzes out completely with me, he just constantly pulls his paw away and I'm afraid I'm gonna cut too short. So I've also been looking for a 'tool' that I can use that maybe will make it easier for me than nail clippers. Should I get some KwikStop too?

I quit using Kwikstop bc it burns. I use regular flour, and that does a good job without causing more pain. Quote:
