Senior Yorkie Talker | Help with dog sitting suggestions I have vacations plans and no one to watch my two little guys. I live in north Jersey. Anyone have any suggestions for a quality dog sitting service or kennel? I hate to do it, but I have no choice. I have 1 yorkie and 1 shih tzu. |

| Check craigslist.org in your area under the 'pets' section. You can probably find a few in home dog nannies/sitters who will watch your dogs like they are their own!! I have found both my amazing dog nannies on craigslist. BE SURE to thoroughly interview them and make sure you get references and check them out!!! I also found one nanny who was great but didn't work out due to health problems on care.com. There is a one time fee but you will get many applicants and you can post a job and w/ what your requirements are, what you're willing to pay, and what you expect from a dog nanny!!! I could NEVER kennel my boys so this is the route I went and found a few GREAT people right in my area!!! Peace of mind and you will actually enjoy your vacation!!!! Good luck, I know how hard this can be!!! Viv

| Check out Fetch! Welcome to Fetch! Pet Care - Dog Walking, Pet Sitting, Dog Boarding, Cat Sitting by Fetch! Pet Care See if they have a franchise in your area. I use them and the sitter we have is fantastic- she is the second sitter we have gotten through them and both were wonderful- we have been using her now for about 4 years. You get a free consultation where they will come to your house and you will meet the sitter and everything and you are under no obligation to use them. My sister did the free meeting for her cat (in a different location with a different franchise then the one I use) and didn't like the person they sent and it was fine- she called and told them and they offered to send another person out to meet with her again at no cost. They have everything- boarding in a sitters home, staying in your home, or just stopping by a certain amount of times per day- whatever you are most comfortable with.
