I'm a native Angelino, and my parents are Mexican. I have a hard time communicating in either language. I know both languages very well, but my brain has decided to have everything jumbled together instead of neatly stored and separated by language. When I talk with another Spanish/English speaker, words just come tumbling out in whatever language they may come.

I spoke no English until I started Kindergarden. I was born and raised here and so were my parents and my grandparents. Now I have difficulty to get my Spanish going....and when I get really flustered I have difficulty with both....

| I've never liked how The word Spanglish sounds. I get the impression of people fusing Spanish and English words together. I tend to say 3 words in Spanish, followed by 3 in English. It's jumbled but organized.
