| Hi to everyone at Yorkietalk! I'm new to Yorkietalk and interested in anything agility. I've been competing for about 4 years with my Yorkies and doing quite well in AKC. My one older dog is now retired but my younger one is very hot right now. We are aiming for AKC Nationals and AKC Invitational. I would like to find some Yorkie only agility trials and toy breed agility trials to attend. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!!!! |

| Hello and Welcome to YorkieTalk! I believe there are some members that do agility with their pups and hopefully you will be able to talk to them soon.

| Hi, welcome to Yorkie Talk I would love to do that after my son is grown and I'd have the time. Not sure if you noticed yet, but there's a section here for "advanced training and agility" topics and discussions too that you might enjoy and meet some others who do agility

| Welcome to YT! I think several members have started their pups in agility training. Hope you find the information you're looking for.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Hi, and welcome to YT! You're MUCH more advanced than we are, so I won't offer any advice! I've heard of small-dog agility, but I can't remember where they do it. We trained for several years and competed one year in the novice class. He absolutely kicked butt, but he had leg surgery and I decided I didn't want to compete with him. We just play around in the yard now. I'd LOVE to see a link to any videos you have, though!

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Yes, yes, please do! My Eddie was the first Yorkie in Alaska to compete, so we had NO Yorkies to compete against. He owned the dachshunds, though!

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | I think the website that might interest you is Mighty Mite Small Dog Sports Forum: Dog Shows, Training, & Dog Sports for Little Dogs (Powered by Invision Power Board) This is a forum for the small dog sport enthusiast. They post a whole lot of info. And here in Canada there are not a lot of Yorkies doing agility, but some.
